A Slow Monday at the Ranch

 

Well it was supposed to be slow Monday for me. Well it started slow but ramped up when we found out the Sheriff’s Dept. wanted to see the Rescued 2 horses. The Muley colored horse was easy to catch. The palomino horse was a different story. After she tried to take me twice in the stall while putting a halter on I had to call in for help.  We got her haltered and tied up.

 

I had the Alternate school kids work on grooming the Muley. I took on the palomino. We she was good on the right side till I started on the hind quarter. She has one mean kick. She knows where she is going to hit when she kicks. She almost nailed me on the first kick. She has a kick that a dairy cow would love to have.

 

I tried to groom her left side and the kick was alive and dead on accurate. She is only able to see a little due to an injured eye that is now cloudy. I gave up after the third kick.

 

The sheriff showed up to look at them. He agreed that they need to have their teeth floated and on a weight increase program set up by the vet. We will make an appointment to get the vet work done

We have added the last group jewelry to the online stores. We are now working on the web site.

We are also finishing the last details for Linda’s jewelry showing. We will announce the dates and location next week.

Well the Boss aka Linda has agreed to have her picture taken. We will take it with her body guards present. Which means we will have to corral the Chihuahua’s to be in the picture. Linda got the idea from Duck Dynasty and Phil Robertson in the chair with his dogs. I will take the pic’s and let the dogs approve the final pic to use.
