A Day that
every day should be like
Yesterday was an a day
that was gorgeous. The temps were in the
low 50’s and the wind was almost nothing. The wind being a gentle 2-3mph breeze
made the day a nice day to be out in and to enjoy. We don’t get to many of these spring days.
Today it is raining just enoughto make it miserable to be out in.
I got a chance to ride my
mare yesterday. Fallon was a pain in my
behind. She wanted to keeping going
through th bit and wanted to run. She
hasn’t been rode in 5 months is part of the problem. Fallon being a Walker mare is one that wants
to step out at a fast pace. She took about an hour and a lot of circles to
finally slow down. She is going to have
to be ridden more the next 6 weeks before we take cows to the hills. She will
be my backup horse to use if I can’t use my stud colt. She also may get rode by one of the other fellas
that come out to help.

Linda is still working on
several more Viking Knit pieces. She
finished one of the knit’s and started on another. The Viking knit is becoming a new must have on
a necklace or choker by our customers.
The other project Linda is
working on is a wire wrapped pendant on a antique brass Viking Knit
Choker. She has it pretty much done but
we are still discussing it’s length. It
is designed without a clasp, so it must be able to go over the head. I am leaning on shortening it and Linda wants
it to stay the present length. Linda is
going to have one of her friends come over and look at it. Linda will go from
there on the final length.
