ML Ranch Jewelry spent most of the day working on the Jackson Hole Art Fair application. We are working on getting the photo’s edited right. I have about 500 photo’s to go through to get the 4 we want.  We only get to submit 4 pieces of Jewelry and one of a booth setup.

The weather here today was cold, windy, and Snow showers. I thought the ground hog said spring was coming.  I think the wires got crossed on the weather. I hope it is better tomorrow so I can ride my colt after I finish the Jackson Hole Art Fair application.

I have continued on the dog training.  He has his good moments and then he has the 8 month old brain fart. When he has the mind block he is hard to handle. I will say he is getting better on his manners.

PS-Linda says buy lots of Jewelry. That way she will have money to pay the hip replacement bills.

Viking Knit Day

Linda is working on a Viking knit . The Viking knit will be used with a wire wrapped pendent.  The Knit is being done with Vintage Bronze. She at the present time is pulling the knit through the draw plate. The draw plate has holes in it of different diameters.  Linda just got done pulling it to the final diameter.  The Vintage Bronze is my favorite for using in the knit.

I also am working with my Lab pup on his manners. The electric hearing aid (ie-electric shock collar) is starting to get his attention and working wonders with him till today.  He had a brain lock up today. He did not want to respond to the shock collar.  I had to hit the panic button on the collar to finally get him to respond.  

I have been using the whistle along with hearing aid to tune his response and manners which today were in doubt.  I need him listening well by the time Linda comes home from the hospital after her hip replacement.

PS-Linda says buy lots of Jewelry. That way she will have money to pay the hip replacement bills.

Easy Monday at the Ranch

We spent the day getting chores done. Linda is working on a Viking knit . The Viking knit will be used with a wire wrapped pendent. The Knit is being done with Vintage Bronze. The Vintage Bronze is my favorite for using in the knit.

I wasn’t feeling real shiny today.I had body aches like I had the flu.  My MS shot last night got the best of me. This happens every so often on Monday’s. I put some more shavings in the stalls. They all got back in the stall tonight and rolled in the shavings. My stud colt will be laying down in the stall most of the night. He likes laying down in the stall.

Slow weekend at ML Racnch Jewelry

This weekend was slow one for us.  We worked on some new wire wrap jewelry.  I will post up some pictures hopefully tomorrow.  Linda is designing and crafting some other wire wrapped jewelry to start the week off.  The new design is interesting and will be a show piece.

I spent the weekend cleaning stalls and playing with the mules. The mules are interesting to work with. Mules are not like horses and you have to change the mindset when working with them. The Molly colt Rosie I am starting to do ground work with her.  I am going get to her ready to wear a packsaddle with light bags of misc. stuff.  I will lead her behind my Walker mare.  I am not sure if I want to lead her with the stud horse.

I also am working with my Lab pup. I need to make sure he has manners when Linda comes home after her hip replacement.  I don’t want him knocking Linda down.

We will be taking pic’s this week of new jewelry pieces.  Then we will do the usual touch on pic’s and add the copyright stamp to them.  Linda will work on the wording for each piece.  Then we will update the e-online stores with the new inventory.

Quiet Day at the Ranch

Linda is wondering what folks thought of the wire wrapped earrings and heart. Post up if you any comments good or bad. We want to make sure that we can provide you a piece of jewelry you will treasure.

It was quiet today at ML Ranch Jewelry. We are slowly getting things ready for March 1st. Linda is having a full hip replacement Mar 1st. She will be house bound for a month or so. Jewelry designing and crafting will be nonstop once she is feeling better.

New Wire Wrap designed Jewelry

Linda is continuing to craft new earring’s using different wire wrap designs. Several of the designs will be a definite hot looking item that won’t last long.

Here are photos of the  wire wrapped earring that was posted earlier this week. The photos show the finish of  two wire wrapped  earrings.

Linda also found a stone that contains some pyrite and looks like a heart. She did a neat wire wrap on it as both sides have a wire wrap, The stone looks awesome.

I apologize for the Blogs having the HTML text showing on them. I thought that was on my end only.  I found while redoing ML Ranch Jewelry web pages alot more about the HTML code and what si needed to be done. So in the future my Blog will look atleast this good and hopefully better.
